music:

i played percussion in a philharmonic band and in a traditional college music group. i also make silly music in Reaper. i play upright and guitar bass, accordion, guitar, uke, drums, and percussion. my objective is to learn as many instruments as i can :3

rhythm games:

i found out about osu! in 2019, which led me to the greater rhythm games scene. i switched to Etterna as my main stepmania clone, and later got to try a DDR cab for the first time. my interest peaked with planet clue's video on Beatmania, and i bought my first dedicated controller: a JKOC for IIDX.

while waiting to get my hands on it, as i was living abroad, i made a custom IIDX controller, and got a DJ Hero controller as well. i've also learned how to Santroller mod two Guitar Hero controllers. i got quite alright at Beat Saber but haven't touched it in a while.

the fun truly begun when i came back to where i'm currently living and found out about an association that manages a small arcade, exclusively for rhythm games. this has gotten me pumped once again for Beatmania IIDX, and thus i've been practicing at home (P2 side, this time!). if you're around the Paris region, check them out at lelap.in
